King Harald was Royal Patron of ONS and a longstanding friend and supporter of the organisation. His connection with ONS stretched across decades, during which he took part in ONS on many occasions and showed a genuine interest in the development of the Norwegian energy industry and its importance to society.

For the ONS Foundation, His Majesty's patronage has been a great honour. His presence and support have meant a great deal to the organisation and to the many people who have had the privilege of meeting him through ONS.
