The Norwegian industrial and technology group employs around 200 people in Norway and Sweden. At ONS, the group will be represented by Dynatec SMV and Dynatec Engineering.

Choosing ONS to build new connections

Dynatec Group has exhibited at many trade shows before, particularly within the food and process industries. This will be the group’s first time exhibiting at ONS and an opportunity to present several parts of the business together.

“ONS is one of the world’s largest meeting places for the international energy and petroleum industry. We want to showcase what we can do, build new connections and partnerships, and, not least, meet potential new customers,” says Kristian Berger, CEO of Dynatec.

Dynatec SMV already has extensive experience supplying the energy and technology industries, with customers including TechnipFMC, TGS, Aker, OneSubsea, Borregaard, Hafslund, NEL, Nexans, NFM, Kongsberg, and IFE, and sees significant potential to do more.

“We have been engineering, developing and manufacturing for these industries for many years, and we are ready to take on even more work in the years ahead,” says Berger.

From idea to finished product

‍

Established in 1989, Dynatec SMV provides precision manufacturing and machining for demanding industries. The company can support a product throughout the entire process, from engineering and prototyping to series production, welding, assembly and a fully tested finished product.

“What makes us stand out is the combination of breadth and in-depth expertise. We have automation specialists and electricians in-house and can deliver turnkey, fully tested products ready for use,” says Berger.

Dynatec Engineering works with design and development, as technology for renewable energy, including a reactor for the production of ultra-pure silicon at its subsidiary Cenate. The group’s silicon expertise also extends to the development and production of silicon-based nanomaterials for anodes, designed to make future lithium-ion batteries smaller, lighter and cleaner.

Investing for further growth

‍

Dynatec supplies customers both in Norway and internationally across industries including oil and gas, renewable energy, research, defence, and the maritime and process industries.

‍

In recent years, Dynatec SMV has invested significantly in both people and machinery. The company currently employs 83 people and aims to grow to more than 90 employees by the end of 2026.

‍

At ONS, DYNATEC hopes this capacity and expertise will open the door to new projects.

“We want to find more strong partners, both customers and suppliers,” Berger concludes.
