Volunteer at ONS?
As a volunteer at ONS, you'll play a vital role in the success of ONS 2024. With tasks ranging from assisting in the conference arena to supporting exhibitions and city center events, you'll gain invaluable experience, expand your network, and explore the exciting opportunities ONS has to offer.
Over 60.000 visitors, close to 1000 speakers and exhibitors from all over world are coming to Stavanger in August. This provides a great opportunity for volunteering and getting access to a world-leading event. Are you interested in energy, people and being service-minded? Then we hope to see your name among those volunteering at ONS 2024.
What's in it for you?
Networking:
As a volunteer at ONS you get unique access to networking opportunities in the energy industry. Whether you're a student, an experienced expert, or a seasoned veteran, the connections made at ONS can expand your network significantly.
Learning:
As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge through interactions with exhibitors, speakers, and attendees. In your spare time between you tasks you will get the possibility to explore the different venues and conference arenas included in the Exhibition Ticket.
Experience:
Volunteering at ONS offers a unique experience in event management, customer service, and logistics, enhancing your resume and attractiveness to potential employers. Participants will receive a certificate of participation and an ONS Exhibition Ticket.
We welcome applications from individuals of all ages, with preference given to those over 20 years old. Proficiency in Norwegian is not required, but English proficiency is essential.
Practical Information:
Volunteers will be invited to an information meeting and kick-off with fellow volunteers in early August, which can also be joined online.
The selection process will take place in May and June, but sign-ups will remain open afterward.
