More flights to Stavanger during ONS from national and international airports
SAS is increasing the number of flights in August to make it easier for travellers to get to ONS in Stavanger. This increase in flights includes additional round trips from several airports, allowing ONS participants to enjoy a more flexible and comfortable travel experience.
ONS, held in Stavanger from the 26th to the 29th of August, is one of the world's leading conferences and exhibitions for the energy industry. The increase in flight departures is specifically arranged to accommodate the high demand associated with the event.
New round trips from SAS include:
- 25 extra departures between Oslo Airport (OSL) and Stavanger, including upgrades to larger aircraft
- 10 extra round trips between Bergen and Stavanger
- 7 extra departures between Copenhagen Airport (CPH) and Stavanger, including upgrades to larger aircraft
- 5 extra departures between Aberdeen Airport (ABZ) and Stavanger
- 2 extra departures between London Heathrow (LHR) and Stavanger
ONS CEO Leif Johan Sevland is very pleased that it will be easier to travel to Stavanger during ONS.
"It is fantastic that SAS is adding extra departures and larger aircrafts to meet the increased demand during ONS. This will make it easier for our participants to travel to and from Stavanger and contribute to a smoother and more efficient conference experience."
The departures will be available for booking via the SAS website and other ticket channels.
