Patrick Pouyanné of Total to speak at ONS Conference

We are proud to announce that Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of Total will speak at the Opening Ceremony of the ONS Conference. Total is the world’s fourth-largest oil and gas company, as well as a major integrated player in low-carbon energies.

The main theme for ONS 2018 is Innovate, a concept relevant to the oil and energy industry. At the ONS Conference we will discuss the new strategic partnerships on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Smaller companies are entering the stage, while some of the majors are reducing their presence. With TOTAL’s recent sale of Martin Linge to Equinor and the acquisition of Maersk Oil, we are excited to hear from Pouyanné on TOTAL’s plans to secure a long-term position as a leading global energy company.

Mr. Pouyanné is a graduate of École Polytechnique and a Chief Engineer of France’s Corps des Mines. He has previously held various administrative positions in the Ministry of Industry and other cabinet positions before joining TOTAL in 1997. On October 22, 2014, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of TOTAL and in 2015 he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOTAL.
