ONS to co-host round-table discussion at MCS

ONS was proud to co-host the Energy Security round-table at the Munich Security Conference 2018. Topic for discussion was  “Lifelines and Pipe Dreams: The Geopolitics of Energy Transmission”.

The Munich Security Conference (MSC) is one of the major global forums for discussions on security policy. Each February it brings together more than 450 senior decision-makers, including ministers and leading personalities of international and non-governmental organisations, as well as leaders from industry, media, academia and civil society to engage in discussions on current and future security challenges.

In 2016 ONS entered into partnership with MCS focusing on critical energy security challenges, uncertainties in the energy markets and the current geopolitics of energy.

MSC has extensive knowledge and a strong network on security policy. Combined with ONS’ comprehensive network in the energy industry the two organisations can add knowledge and dialogue on critical issues for the industry.

Before we kicked off the discussions: Leif Johan Sevland in dialogue with Dan Broulliette, US Deputy Secretary Minister of Energy. ONS friends, Sir John Scarlett and moderator Jason bordoff.
