“Development and adoption of technology is important to the further development of the Norwegian Continental Shelf. At the Innovation Park, 18 companies will showcase their new, exciting and innovative solutions. The solutions address some of the challenges facing the industry, such as the need for production optimisation while mitigating the effects on the environment. These emerging technologies have the potential to change the energy industry” said John-Arne Røttingen (picture), Managing Director of the Research Council of Norway.

A vibrant and talented community

At the ONS Innovation Park, you can meet the 18 companies and learn how these companies have carried out their research and development activities. One of the exhibiting companies is XSENS. They have developed groundbreaking technology for flow rate and fraction measurement topside and subsea.

“We are excited to participate in this year’s ONS Innovation Park and showcase our product to a global audience,” says Magne K. Husebø CEO in XSENS.

XSENS AS was established in 2013 as an independent affiliate company of Christian Michelsen Research AS (CMR) in Bergen, Norway. Their aim is to provide customers with new functionality and improved reliability for flow rate and fraction measurement.

The companies exhibiting at the ONS Innovation Park will also apply for the ONS Innovation Award. The ONS Innovation Award recognises the crucial importance of emerging technologies and solutions.
