The energy industry has a long history of innovation: it is through the creation of new technology and the development of new solutions that it grows and thrives. With this in mind, the ONS Innovation Award provides a unique opportunity for companies to showcase and promote their newest developments to a global audience.
Through innovation, we can transform how our energy is produced, stored, transported and used, making this process more effective, sustainable and efficient.
The ONS Innovation Awards are divided into two categories: one for large companies and one for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The ONS Innovation Award Jury is formed by 8 members representing research centres, international associations and private companies.
This edition, the jury is considering not only the level of innovation of the solutions presented, but also their capability to reduce environmental impact in relation to existing technology. The market potential and readiness, as well as the added value that the solutions provide to the industry will also be key factors in determining two deserving winners.
The deadline for applications is 20 May 2020 and everyone can apply. All finalists will have the opportunity to present their innovations at ONS 2020 Technical Sessions, while the winners will be announced at the ONS Conference.
