Sales of stand space at ONS 2016 higher than in 2014

Operators and suppliers are eager to secure exhibition space at ONS 2016. One year ahead of the event, ONS has sold more exhibition space than ever before at this stage.

The exhibition area has been expanded with an entire hall since 2014 – which means ONS probably is the only growing energy event these days. Filling the larger area with exhibitors does not seem to be difficult, despite the current business situation.

“The interest in exhibiting has been sky-high this time. It seems that the downturn in the market makes a meeting place like ONS even more important,” says Jon Are Rørtveit, VP Commercial Director at ONS.

Little exhibition space left
Recently ONS attended Offshore Europe in Aberdeen. Many companies visited ONS’ stand with one goal: to book stand space at ONS 2016.

“A lot of them were companies who has not exhibited at ONS before, and there was great interest from international companies. We are now following up on these and will try to make room for them all,” Rørtveit explains.

ONS has a strong rate of resale at the exhibition. Therefore, all the companies the visitors expect to meet will be there. See some of them here.

“We always want a good mix of regular and new exhibitors. This is essential to create the meeting place we aim for, and benefits both our exhibitors and visitors. So expect to meet new companies from emerging markets, with new energy solutions and companies crossing over from other industries,” Rørtveit says.
