ONS Centre Court Session: Norway’s role in a changing European Energy landscape

ONS acknowledge the need for a transition to a low carbon future. Connie Hedegaard, is member of expert commission, The Norwegian government’s commission on green competitiveness. She will address why a green transition is essential to Norway and everyone else, when she visits ONS Centre Court Tuesday 30 August.

ConnieHedegaardHedegaard was the European Commissioner for Climate Action from 2010 to 2014, during which she led the negotiations towards the adoption of the EU 2030 Climate and Energy Framework. As EU Commissioner, she was also responsible for the 2050 Roadmap for moving to a low carbon economy and represented the EU in the international climate negotiations.

The session will be held Tuesday 30 August, 13:00–14:35.
ONS Centre Court is located in Hall 9.
