New Head of Conference and new Project Manager Conference at ONS

ONS wants to further develop its conference concepts, and has appointed two individuals who will contribute towards this. Cato Meling is the foundation’s new Head of Conference and Siri Støldal Gjervan will be Project Manager Conference.

Cato Meling has worked in the oil and gas industry for the past 20 years, and has a broad domestic and international network.

He joins ONS from the position as Senior Communication Advisor with Statoil, and has for several years been responsible for Statoil’s participation at fairs and conferences – including ONS.

Siri Støldal Gjervan comes from the position as Project Manager with the Norwegian Petroleum Society (NPF), where she has worked for several years. She has valuable expertise from a number of projects related to network building and major events, and has an extensive network in the sector.

“We are reshaping the ONS conference, and I could not have asked for a better team to lead this work. The main event has seen tremendous growth, and we also have our new event, ONS Norway, with an entirely new conference,” says Leif Johan Sevland, CEO of ONS.

“I am confident that Cato Meling and Siri Støldal Gjervan have the knowledge, expertise
and drive needed to elevate the ONS conferences in the years ahead,” Sevland concludes.

Meling will take up his position on 1 May, while Støldal Gjervan has already started.
