Through eight episodes, State of Happiness tells the story of four young people and how their lives in various ways are affected by the oil industry and the social changes that came with it. The story starts in Stavanger in 1969, when Phillips Petroleum found the largest sub sea oil basin in history, and follows the main characters through the Klondike years up until Statoil (now Equinor) was founded in 1972.
Address: Stavanger Forum, Gunnar Warebergsgate 13, 4021 Stavanger.
Due to closed areas in connection with ONS, the only possible access is at the entrance of Scandic Forum Hotel. To avoid traffic, we encourage everyone to use public transport. After the show, free shuttlebuses will transport you downtown to the ONS Festival or to Equinor’s reception at Forus.
If you for some reason can’t make it, we appreciate if you let us know, so someone else can take your place. Please follow the instructions in the mail you received after you signed up to cancel your registration.
