Roger Vielvoye Award

First presented in 1994, the Roger Vielvoye Memorial Award commemorates a leading energy sector journalist of his day, and was instituted by his colleagues in the press.

The purpose of the award is to encourage companies at ONS to make the best use of the many journalists attending the event from all around the world.

The award to the company making the greatest effort in terms of informing the press during ONS 2008 was made to Halliburton.
