First Lego League to ONS
Tomorrow’s innovators must practice imaginative thinking and teamwork. ONS 2018 is proud to welcome FIRST LEGO League to our exhibition.
FIRST LEGO League is a STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) program and introduces younger students to engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots. The intention is to challenge kids to think like scientists and engineers developing solutions to real-world problems such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc.
Engineers from all over the world will visit ONS at the end of August to drive development and transformation and learn how to manage the largest shared technology change of our time. Lego lets kids exercise creativity and is responsible for generations of engineers who learnt through play. What’s more perfect than combining the two?
Lego is much more than a children’s toy. With Lego you can build absolutely anything. I am impressed over the work FIRST LEGO League is doing to challenge kids into thinking like scientists and engineers from a very early age. “Innovate” is the theme for ONS 2018, and I truly believe this event is the perfect opportunity for our visitors to be inspired to push the boundaries of innovation, says Ingvild Meland, Programme Director ONS.
Visit First Lego League in hall 3 to join competitions, workshops and demos, and tap into your curiosity and appetite for discovery.
