China's CNOOC to ONS 2018

The normalisation of the relations between Norway and China has opened up for a number of opportunities and several Chinese companies have registered as exhibitors for ONS 2018.

Norwegian technology and expertise is in demand

The full normalisation of political and diplomatic relations between Norway and China has opened up for a number of opportunities and several Chinese companies have registered as exhibitors for ONS 2018. We are proud to announce that the national oil company CNOOC is now returning to ONS.

“Chinese companies are interested in doing business with the Norwegian petroleum industry. ONS is an attractive arena for Chinese companies to learn and access expertise, says CEO of ONS”, Leif Johan Sevland

Seven companies, including the national oil company, CNOOC, have secured their space for this year’s ONS. In addition, two pavilions have been reserved for smaller Chinese companies that want to grow their presence in the energy industry.

“The Norwegian oil service companies have a leading role globally. Their expertise and technology is in demand by the Chinese. We are pleased to welcome Chinese companies and we are looking forward to showcase the breadth and diversity within the Norwegian oil and energy industry”, says Sevland.
