We aim to provide good working conditions for journalists, PR consultants and communications consultants. In order to meet everyone’s needs as best we can, we have created two work areas and different types of accreditation. All groups will of course be provided with the well-known ONS service at the Press Centre!
Only members of the independent press will be granted a press pass. Please note that you may be asked to provide examples of your published work and/or a reference from your employer.
The press pass gives access to the press centre, the conference arenas and the exhibition, all days.
Hotel booking: When your application for press accreditation is approved, you will be able to book a hotel room reserved for the press. (Applies as long as rooms are available).
Please use this link to start accrediting: Apply for press accreditation.
PR and communication advisers can be accredited in order to get access to a designated working area at the press centre and access to the exhibition all days. The registration as PR/Communications costs only NOK 400 (VAT included), same as access to the ONS Exhibition.

About the Press Centre
The Press Centre is located in Hall 10, conveniently next door to the hotel where the ONS Conference is held. Here everything has been arranged to enable you to work in peace and quiet, with all you need at hand.
The Press Centre has numerous work stations with power outlets, wireless Internet access and food and drink.
Press conference room
The press conference room is available to ONS exhibitors for free. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are booked every hour between 08.00 and 16.00 hours, Monday – Thursday. Presentation time is 45 minutes.
When booking a slot, please submit the name of the company and the topic. The press conference schedule will be distributed to the members of the press.
The press conference room is equipped with microphones, computer and projector. A technician is available to assist you. All you need to do is to show up ten minutes before the press conference with your presentation on a memory stick.
